Beach Session with the Doggo | Dauphin Island

This family session at a beach house on Dauphin Island featured a delightful time spent with the beloved four-legged family member. The beginning of the was bright, but thankfully, the beach house provided a comforting shadow over the beach. Overly sunny days can lead to less-than-ideal portraits, characterized by squinting eyes and stark shadows. Seeking shelter in the shade not only improves the quality of portraits but also opens up more creative possibilities for the client. As daylight softened, we took the opportunity to venture beyond the beach house, exploring the scenic surroundings with the family of three, resulting in more intentional photography.
