We had the most beautiful sunset for this memorable family session in Perdido Key, but unfortunately, we faced some really strong winds that day. The weather forecast also indicated that it would be just as windy on the only available day the family could schedule a makeup session. Despite the challenging conditions, we decided it was best to carry on and make the most of the opportunity. I started out in an area that provided a little wind protection, allowing us to capture some safe shots. I aimed to establish a solid baseline of great images before we ventured out to the more exposed parts of the beach. Once we made our way to the sandy shoreline, we were rewarded with a gorgeous sunset that painted the sky. With careful placement of the family in the frame and some thoughtful photo editing to tame any flyaway hair, we managed to create some beautiful family beach portraits, even on this windy day.
