Gulf Shores Beach Senior Portrait Session

This session took place at Gulf Shores Beach on a bright and windy day. Normally those are bad conditions for a family session but with one person it can be an advantage. We found shade and I used portable studio lighting to fill in shadows. Using lights allowed us to take advantage of the bright colors of the beach while avoiding harsh shadows. Once lighting was figured out, then we found areas that complemented her hair so we could avoid the “Medusa” look.
