Perdido Key Senior Portraits | Orange Beach

This took place on a beautiful evening in Perdido Key, Florida. We pulled out all the stops during the session as we had some great natural lighting as well as some dramatic looking skies that were lingering from an afternoon thunderstorm. Using my portable studio kit, we were able to get some very dramatic looking backgrounds. I think preserving the backgrounds during a beach session is important and using studio lights on the beach gives me much more flexibility and control. The lights help me create more depth than just relying on natural light. Natural light is great, but I cannot always count on optimal lighting. I think it’s important to give the client the best opportunity for quality photos.
