We had a great weather forecast for this evenings family session at Turquoise Place in Orange Beach. However, we had a pop up shower form about 30 minutes before the session and radar showed it was going to stay over Orange Beach for a couple of hours. I gave the family the option to refund the deposit but they decided to make the best of it since they were all dressed and this was the only day they had with everyone together. I looked around for alternatives and noticed there was a covered area between the towers that had a view of the pool. I set up my lights and we had a studio area setup. The family had a great time and were wonderful going with the flow. This was definitely a different family session and a good example of how we can work together to get a family session done in less than ideal situations.
