Reflections in the Sand | Fort Morgan Family Portrait

Sometimes things just fall into place. For this family portrait in Fort Morgan, the tide was just right to have an area of flat sand that had just a little bit of the waves onshore. This created a mirror effect in the sand. It was just before sunset so the sky was getting a dramatic look. I just couldn’t pass this opportunity up to give the family something a bit different. I quickly setup my two lights to give the portrait an extra pop and depth. This portrait turned out better than I imaged.
