This was an exciting last-minute assignment for the Texas Longhorn Women’s soccer team. They were competing in the highly anticipated 2024 SEC Soccer Tournament Championship Game. It was an enjoyable and dynamic assignment, allowing me to witness the vibrant pageantry and thrilling atmosphere of the SEC Championship series firsthand. In a nail-biting finish, Texas emerged victorious, thanks to a spectacular late header by Carly Montgomery that came from a perfectly executed corner kick.
