West End Dauphin Island Family Portraits

This family photo session unfolded at the picturesque West End Beach on Dauphin Island during a radiant evening with lively activity on the gulf side. We started our session between the Gulf and bay sides, positioning the family to avoid squinting against the sun. Following a half-hour at this spot, we moved to the Gulf side as we had softer lighting conditions and people started to leave the beach, making it less crowded making for cleaner backgrounds. The shift in locations enabled us to capture a diverse range of spontaneous and composed portraits. This session serves as a prime illustration of adeptly adapting to natural conditions for impactful photography outcomes.
