The Beach Club Family Portraits - Before the Storm

The forecast called for 0% chance of rain during the sunset hour for this family session at the Beach Club in Fort  Morgan, Alabama. I arrived an hour before the session to scout the area out and be prepared for the 7pm session. Typical of the Summer months, you cannot always count on forecasts. A pop up storm appeared on the radar and it was moving towards the Beach Club. I gave the family the option of another day but they said they were ready early.

I am glad we had the session before the storm arrived as it gave us some wonderful and dramatic backgrounds. Although the session was cut short by the rain, we were able to work quickly and efficiently. By deciding to get the session in, this family was provided with some unique portraits.
