Things Don’t Go as Planned | Perdido Key

When newborns and toddlers are involved in a family portrait session, they often become the focal point during beach sessions. In a recent session in Perdido Key, Florida, this dynamic was clearly demonstrated. Despite our attempts, capturing a posed portrait with the great-grandparents without the little one crying proved to be a challenge. The success of such a session hinges on managing expectations and adapting to unforeseen circumstances. While I strive to fulfill the requested portraits, there comes a point where we must choose between persisting in pursuit of a challenging shot or focusing on capturing what is feasible in the moment.
