I had grand visions of how I wanted the portrait to go by this fence in Fort Morgan. Dunce fences are a great prop for child portraits. I wanted to provide the family with some great smiling and fun photography of this big guy. However, he had other plans. He was so fascinated by the fence he wasn’t looking at the camera. We tried to get just one of him standing by the fence and looking at the camera. It didn’t happen. I changed tactics and got a very stoic portrait through the fence.
